I am exhibiting in four art shows this month!
Thursday Jan. 12 7-9pm THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener hosts the #EXnovation exhibition, a collaborative art show organized by the Collective Identity. The group collaboration that I am with is organized by l.t. dougherty who built panels and handed them off to 7 artists to paint. The series is called “release”. Friday Jan. 13 5-7pm reception. Button Factory Arts Instructors show “Those that can, teach”. I am teaching a 6wk course Watercolour Explorations, Tuesdays Jan.24- Feb.28.
Thursday January 26 4-9pm reception. Create Waterloo’s Portrait Project at Waterloo Museum, Conestoga Mall. A group of artists held workshops or guided members of the community in creating their self portraits in various art mediums. As part of Canada’s 150th birthday, this project showcases “We Are Waterloo”.
Friday Jauary 26th 5-9pm reception. The Art District Gallery invites you to an opening reception in our new home in St. Jacobs. After one year in Kitchener, the co-op moved to St. Jacobs in September 2016. Expanding, we have moved into a larger space down the block. Re-opening at 1369 King St. N. on January 10th, come take a look!
As well, I am getting ready for a solo show entitled “Confluence”- reception March 19th at Homer Watson House and Gallery, as featured artist at the KWSA juried show.
