Button Factory Juried Show, opening reception October 12, 5-7pm.

Ferrari 500 Art Show & Sale. This is a one day event where 17 local artists come together to sell art and fundraise for the great cause. 10% of pPeng, Woven, alcohol ink on yupo mounted on wood panel, 8x6, $50, 2017roceeds go to The Working Centre in Kitchener. September 2017

I have worked on a painting over the summer of duckweed fronds on a pond for a juried show. “Waking Fronds” is a watercolour and ink painting inspired by a walk in a hidden valley.  Opening Reception for Hidden Valley Revealed exhibit at Homer Watson House and Gallery September 17th 2-4pm.

I will be teaching watercolour painting techniques on Tuesday afternoons and intro. to printmaking on Thursday afternoons ..  register at Button Factory Arts, Waterloo starts the week of September 19/21.

Look for Culture Days activities in your region. I will be at the John M. Harper library, Waterloo September 30 leading a hands-on card making activity. Also on that day is A Grand Fabrication show and opening exhibit at The Art District Gallery  in St. Jacobs.

2017 June

Planning for Canada 150 events! June will be a month of planning and creating as I wrap up teaching my spring watercolour classes.

I have just launched the advertising for our Culture Days event planned for Sat. Sept. 30th.  Sponsored by Laurelwood Neighbourhood Association at the John M. Harper branch Waterloo Public Library, we will be part of the Ontario Culture Days events. Art Card Creations.

I am currently taking classes and creating new art in screen printing, lino block printing fused glass and wood engraving.

Art District Gallery is celebrating its 2 year anniversary with a party Thursday May 25 5-9pm. Come for cupcakes and see our retrospective salon style exhibition.

I am organizing the KWSA members’ show at Button Factory Arts.  Reception Friday May 26 5-7pm.

THEMUSEUM is hosting Side by Side Art Show and Sale for Planned Lifetime Networks with a silent art auction for the month of May. May 30th is the closing auction and event date. I have 3 pieces of art with a portion of the funds raised going to PLN.

2017 April

A busy month. My solo show at Homer Watson House and Gallery has filled me with joy.. feeling the warmth and support around me. Two paintings will be finding a new home! Exhibit runs until April 23.

Another exhibit at Walter Fedy in Kitchener runs until April 28.
